The world of creative production is ever-evolving, and the collaboration between Syncro and GYN stands as a testament to this very dynamic industry. We try to delve into reasons behind our collaboration, the choice of Bali as our place of shoot, and innovative-creative solutions we crafted together in this collaboration.

THE GENESIS OF COLLABORATION

Why Syncro and GYN?

Syncro is production team while GYN is a soloist production, with differing tone and photography methods resulting in each of us having different characters. Syncro with its earth tones and GYN with its affinity for blue skies. With these differences being said, as one said “for us to be off stronger, we shall collaborate”.Through this collective, we wish for those who wants to feel our collaboration, to provide tone options according to their brands.

Choosing Bali as the Canvas

Bali collides both elements of Syncro & GYN. Syncro with its earth tone while GYN with its blue sky element. Bali’s rare blend of earthy and azure elements perfectly mirrored the essence of Syncro & GYN. We feel that Bali is the appropriate place to do the photoshoot with Bali having both elements. The variety of beaches and villas in Bali has provided a plethora of options to offer our clients, allowing them to choose the perfect setting that resonates with their brand.

Generating Win-Win Solution

In our perspective, collaboration to held out-of-town production becomes a winning solution for brands. Brands can participate and acquire high quality results at an affordable cost, without them having to accommodate their own team. 

THE WORK DONE

Crafting the Works and Package

Syncro x GYN boast the brief as this one:

Our solution was then came into life with package options: regular and bundling. Our regular included photographer, content creator, creative director, and model. For our bundling option, we also provided behind-the-scene output that were shot by phone. This was the ‘gong’ because current brands tapping into the current trend phone-based content for social media (reels).

Our challenge, and also a perfect opportunity, is that we have one model and we try to optimize for varying each brands in terms of concept, timing, location, and looks so each of them will look exclusive. 

In our internal process, we created 6-days itinerary, with schedules from the mornings to the evening for optimizing brand photoshoots timing. Syncro x GYN also made sure for all schedule to be prompt and also prepared plan B for unforeseen circumstances. In this photo session, we give freedom for clients to give us moodboard according to the product concept that they desire.

From Results and Feedbacks

The outcome of this collaboration were a solution to aid brands in delivering their products through unique and exclusive visuals. This collaboration also provided experience for brands to have good experience in collaborating with Syncro and GYN.

• Agy as Gyn : Such a wonderful project with Syncro. This was my first cross collaboration with a creative agency. Mungkin dari awal agak khawatir collab project ini akan blend in atau engga. Karena secara karakter, Gyn dan Syncro punya visual image yang berbeda. Tapi surprisingly ini jadi salah satu project favorite ku di tahun 2023.
